Sunset with the Girls

Carson was spent by the time the sun was coming down so he decided to just go to bed.  The girls on the other hand had plenty of energy.  Lots of dancing and even a conga line to close out the day.

Mexico Beach

Took a ride over to Mexico beach on New Years Eve just to explore.  When we got to the pier it had a large sign that said it was closed for fireworks setup.  There seemed to still be people going on so we did as well.  When we got about half way down, a gentleman told us that the pier was now closed and we had to leave.  I asked if we could just walk to the end and come right back and he said ok.  We had the pier to ourselves.  You can see in the second picture the mortars used to launch the fireworks that were placed at the end of the pier.  Today was a little different for Carson, as you’ll see from the pictures.  He went from camera friendly to no pictures please.  I still tried.

Most Amazing Sunset & the Captain

As you can see from the outfits, it’s a little chilly.  I don’t know why Carson started saluting, but the fact that he wanted his picture taken made it alright with me.  So you’ll be treated to plenty of pictures of Captain Carson.  Today finished with one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen.  The last few pictures of Carson really blew me away.  Enjoy!

Gulls and Langley

We had to go into Port Saint Joe to get a few things so we stopped at a cool park and let the kids play for awhile.  The park was by the bay and the sea gulls were more than happy to pose for a photo as long as I had what they thought was something to eat.  The first photo of Langley is from the slide at the park.  The following two photos are from another spot we stopped at on the way home.
